Antique German Coffee Grinder

October 10, 2010

I purchased this beautiful piece at an antique store in Missouri this last summer. It’s in perfect condition except for the lid. The lid was missing so my sister-in-law gave me the decorated canning jar lid. Nothing smells quite so good in the morning as fresh ground coffee, except maybe the freshly brewed coffee!

If anyone has knowledge about this piece, I’d love to hear some history on this item!

This is so pretty – I think you got it for a great price as well. What is the lid measurement? I’ll keep a lookout for anything that will match.
